Boston Bites Back at Fenway Park to Support the One Fund!

Two weeks ago today, the Boston area police departments with the help of the
FBI and other government agencies shut down our bustling metropolis to find the
men who poked the wrong sleeping giant. While the city has slowly regained its
flow and businesses on Boylston are back in business, celebrity chefs Ken
Oringer and Ming Tsai have been plotting their own comeback. Boston Bites Back
will be held on May 15th at the historic Fenway Park with over 100 chefs
participating.

Boston favorites like Flour Bakery, Eastern Standard, Hungry Mother, Coppa
and Summer Shack will all be represented by their finest culinary masters.
Tiffany Faisson of Top Chef and Sweet Cheeks and Mario Batali will also be in
attendance serving up delicious BBQ and classic Italian cuisine. General
admission tickets will be sold for $200. This grants patrons to the Big
Concourse to sample food from all the chefs along with beer, wine and soft
drinks. Guests are invited to sit in the stands, enjoy all the amenities of the
Budweiser deck and even walk out to the warming tracks! VIP tickets will be
sold for $1000 and includes exclusive menus from Ming and Ken themselves as
well as top shelf wine and liquor and a private party in the EMC Club. This
event is for adults 21 and over only and tickets can be purchased online.

If you can’t make it to Fenway Park on the 15th, maybe you can head over to
the TD Garden on May 30th? The Boston Strong Benefit Concert will also attempt
to raise money for the One Fund. Headliners such as Aerosmith, New Kids On The
Block, Jason Aldene, James Taylor and comedians Dane cooks and Steven Wright
will be joined by many others for one night of music magic. Tickets will go on
sale Monday, May 6th on Ticketmaster and LiveNation. They are priced between
$35-$285. To ensure that all money raised goes directly to the One Fund, only
tickets purchased on the two sites mentioned will be allowed in. Ticket holders
must have a valid form of government issued ID and the credit card used to
purchase the ticket to gain entrance.

Nights like these are certainly ones to remember, and also ones to tire you
out! Stay with us at our boutique bed and breakfast in the South End
neighborhood and share all your stories and adventures with us over breakfast
the next morning. That is, if you can wake up from the deep food and music induced
comas!
