Boston Boutique Hotel Celebrates St. Patricks Day!

It’s that time of year again! Boston is going green for St. Patrick’s Day!
This weekend, bring out your inner Irishman and drink Guinness, eat corned beef
and cabbage and dance along to bag pipes in the streets. In 1847, nearly 40,000
Irish immigrants moved to Boston to escape the Irish famine. Ever since, the
Irish have had a strong presence in Boston’s public works, first responders and
the Boston culinary scene.

If you are looking for a great way to visit different bars and pubs in the
city, try out Green Kegs and Hammered 3 day Pub Crawl. The event is going on
all weekend and tickets can be purchased online. Visit bars like Royale
Nightclub, Cure Lounge, Kitty O’Shae’s and Clarke’s to have a few brews with
your friends and meet other St. Paddy’s enthusiasts. If a pub crawl isn’t your
style, maybe a delicious Irish meal is the thing for you! The Black Rose in
Faneuil Hall will be celebrating all weekend long with meal deals and live
music! While at Quincy Market, stay for the day and hear free concerts and watch
local Irish Step performances. And for those who like their music a little
louder, the Dropkick Murphy’s will be performing this Sunday at the Boston
House of Blues! It doesn’t get any more Irish American than the Dropkick Murphy’s!
Head to McGreevy’s on Boylston Street after the show, they own the place!

It’s hard to go a day in Boston without encountering a local who can trace
his roots back to the Emerald Isle. For this reason, Boston comes alive on St.
Patrick’s Day and puts on the second largest St. Patrick’s Day Parade in the
country. Head to South Boston for the main event before coming back to your
favorite bed and breakfast. Share your wild and crazy experiences with other
guests over afternoon tea and cookies (or coffee and Tylenol!).
